Sense of Self Creative Collage
A sacred space to explore who you are and make room to express your emotions and the parts of self that aren't often explored.
On the surface this may look like an arts and crafts day, but it runs a lot deeper than that. Think art therapy. The goal of this session is not to create a pretty picture. It is not to 'produce' something as such, although this may occur. It's all about the process and digging deeper to uncover layers of ourself.
The workshop will include a short, guided embodiment meditation that'll help you tune in to what your top card is right now and what wants to step forward. This can be particularly helpful if you have been feeling a bit stuck or lost in your life.
It's also great for those that don't feel they have space or the security to express emotions within a relationship or family dynamic.
There will be room for sharing and having your thoughts and feelings seen and deeply witnessed.
We will also explore who you are in shape and colour and form, creating a collage of either a literal or abstract self-portrait, a collaged mantra or emotion or state of being that you'd like to explore further.
All art materials are provided (excluding any frames) as well as tea/coffee and snacks. You are welcome to bring a packed lunch as the workshop runs over lunchtime.
